Writing to describe Students will develop their writing ability under the environment of fostering. Writing to interpret:
Students’ desire and growth in writing should be fostered by the various factors: the interaction between the parents and kids, the encouragement from the teacher and the evaluation from the peers and classroom cultures granting the students the autonomy to write. All those activities will grow “students’ self-confidence and willingness to try”, and under the right context, the students will naturally and are eagerly to develop their talents in writing. Writing to interrogate:
If we do not correct the student’s spelling, punctuation and other conventions,and wait for the students to be self aware of them, how do they handle the exams ?
How are the teachers interpret the little kids’ meaning if they have no idea about what they had drawn? Or if the student do not tell the teacher? Especially for those kids who are not expressive?
Writing to evaluate:
Peer evaluation is the most impressive part I have got. Teaching students how to respond the other students’ writing positively and provides encouraging feedback.
Giving students more autonomy in writing, and they should not be limited by forms and grammars, or spellings.
Help the students keep their track of progress in a systematic way, for example ,using portfolio
I would like use Google. docs as the way of keeping my writing journal.
